Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking a Designer to translate customer visions into compelling design solutions. You will assist customers in-store, in-home, and virtually, crafting moodboards, floor plans, and design packages that align with brand standards.

In this role you will drive sales, deliver timely projects, and collaborate with store and design teams to support business goals. Strong tech affinity and excellent communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/ Home Decor Design or retail/customer service experience.
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and a differentiated experience by providing enriching customer interactions, and providing elevated design offerings in the store, in-home and virtually with customers.
• Lead design consultations in person (in-store or in-home) or via email, phone and virtual
• Deliver projects in a timely manner and within determined timelines
• Understand brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel; Store, E-Commerce, Catalog
• Communicate product information, care information and industry trends
• Engage customers on selling skills and loyalty services
• Explain design services and offerings to customers
• Develop lasting relationships with customers through networking and clienteling
