Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Designer to help customers envision possibilities with home design trends. You will drive sales through enriching interactions, design consultations, moodboards, and 2D/3D floor plans in-store, in-home, and virtually.

You’ll collaborate with store and design teams to present brand-aligned design packages, staying current with product information and industry trends, and building lasting client relationships through thoughtful service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering design consultations to customers in a retail/home decor setting.
• Ability to translate client needs into design concepts and presentations.
• Familiarity with trends in home interiors and brand aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and a differentiated experience by engaging customers with elevated design offerings in-store, in-home, and virtually.
• Create moodboards, 2D & 3D floor plans, product lists, and customer presentations.
• Lead design consultations in person or via email, phone and virtual channels.
• Deliver projects on time within defined timelines.
• Align design services with brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends.
• Meet sales, KPI, and service goals while engaging customers on the sales floor.
• Develop lasting client relationships through networking and clienteling.
