ARCO Design/Build in Tampa, FL seeks a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive new client relationships across the United States. The role requires proven sales success in the construction industry and the ability to build trust with clients and team members.

You will identify opportunities, expand ARCO’s footprint, and lead the sales plan while collaborating with marketing, estimators, project managers, and senior leaders. This is a long‑term, growth‑minded opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Strong business acumen in A/E/C industry, ideally multifamily.
• Technical sales experience in construction with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top-of-mind awareness.
• Research and analyze economic factors influencing market activity in specific niches or locations.
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay informed on market conditions and client relationships.
• Provide ongoing updates on new business development and key indicators to ARCO management.
• Help develop and manage the sales plan and its execution.
• Coordinate the sales/proposal process with marketing, estimators, PMs, and senior management.
• Travel to prospective clients and markets as needed.
• Establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies.
