DOCS Dermatology Group seeks a Medical Receptionist to professionally greet patients, collect insurance information and data, and manage scheduling and checkouts. You will support physicians and staff with accurate data entry in the EHR system and handle balances and copays with courteous service.

The role emphasizes a friendly, efficient front desk presence with strong patient-care standards, grounded in medical terminology knowledge and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones.
• Greeting patients and vendors.
• Signing patients in and out, collecting insurance information and other data.
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments by phone and at checkout desks.
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays; providing patient support as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, secure, healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
