Dermatology Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our front office team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will create a positive first impression and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.

You will manage check-ins/outs, scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and patient records, while educating patients on dermatology services and products. A collaborative, patient-centered environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical front office or reception experience (dermatology experience a plus).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional, calm, and compassionate under pressure.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and understanding of HMO vs. PPO plans.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth.
• Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Schedule appointments and manage a busy multi-provider schedule.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays or balances.
• Educate patients about DSI’s dermatology products and services.
• Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support office operations and ensure smooth daily workflow.
