Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to support patient flow and information exchange at our Michigan locations. You will answer multi-line phones, greet patients and vendors, sign patients in and out, and collect necessary data for insurance and appointments.

The role includes data entry into EHR systems, scheduling, and handling copays while maintaining a safe and welcoming front desk environment. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones
• Greeting patients and vendors
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
• Data entry into EHR systems
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
