Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners in Henderson, NV is seeking a front desk receptionist to manage patient flow, scheduling, and insurance verifications in a busy dermatology clinic.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of medical front desk experience, with dermatology exposure preferred. You will handle patient check-ins/outs, EMR entries, and ensure smooth administrative operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of front desk experience in a medical office/clinic.
• Dermatology or cosmetic clinic experience is preferred.
• Familiar with patient check-in/check-out workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations: answer phones, greet patients, schedule appointments, address routine inquiries, forward non-routine requests.
• Prepare patient paperwork before appointments.
• Review EMA for updates.
• Update patient information in EMA.
• Identify payer sources, verify insurance eligibility and prior authorization.
• Collect and record patient copays/balances at check-in/out.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
