Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Casper is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative to join our busy clinic. In this role you will welcome patients, verify insurance, handle check-ins, manage a multi-line phone system, and support front-desk operations in a fast-paced dermatology practice.

You will schedule appointments, assist with billing tasks such as co-pays, maintain records, and contribute to a courteous, confidential patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm is preferred.
• Must demonstrate professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance
• Scans documents into electronic health record
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter throughout the day
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments throughout the day
• Schedules follow up appointments as needed
• Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record
• Orders clinic office supplies
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products
• Distributes mail
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments
