Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Casper is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative to join our fast-paced team. You will handle patient check-in, verify insurance, process co-pays, and support reception operations at the Casper clinic with weekly travel to the Douglas location.

You will work in a patient-facing role requiring excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k) and more, in a supportive dermatology practice environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of recent medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions and typing.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into electronic health record.
• Maintains waiting area and reception counter tidiness.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments.
• Schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
• Responds to tasks in the electronic health record.

Casper Dermatology is Hiring - Full Time Patient Service Representative !!

Monday - Friday schedule - 7:15 AM - 5:00 PM

Weekly travel to Douglas clinic - 1-2 times weekly

Summary

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for the patient check-in process, updating computer patient personal information and insurance information, handling a multi-line phone system, medical records filing and maintenance, and collection of co-pays and cash payments.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 1+ years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity is preferred
• Proficient in basic computer functions
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm is preferred
