Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Deputy Project Leader to manage daily project operations, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and drive successful delivery of complex security and electrical systems.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, active Secret clearance, and strong planning, communication, and leadership skills. Travel to project sites will be needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (EE or related) with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with CPM Scheduling and related project controls.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills; ability to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of a project or sub-section.
• Identify, price, track, and manage change orders.
• Plan and monitor cash flow against expenses; maintain as-builts and document issues.
• Plan and execute project completion and punch lists.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specs; prepare estimates for designs.
