Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Lab Design Operation & Test Deputy Director to lead the LDOT team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel program. You will align the LDOT tactical approach with the director’s vision and guide multiple engineering and test groups to deliver on customer SOWs within budget and schedule.

The role requires a BS with 8+ years in IPT/program management and an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with SAP eligibility. Travel is minimal but may occur.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with at least 8 years of related experience in IPT and/or program management.
• Masters degree with at least 6 years of experience in IPT and/or program management.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at time of application, with ability to obtain SAP approval.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional leadership team including systems, test, software, mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Organize and manage Integrated Functionality Capabilities (IFC) teams.
• Meet aggressive schedules and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Define and maintain the technical baseline with program leadership and customers.
• Communicate effectively with program management, technical leaders, customers, and peers.
• Manage risk, issue, and opportunity; oversee EVMS cost and schedule management.
