Job summary

First Resource Bank seeks experienced Business Development Officers to expand its presence in Montgomery County, Bucks County, and Main Line markets. You will identify, acquire, and grow deposit relationships with business customers while collaborating across teams to implement growth initiatives.

The role requires travel up to 50% and flexible hours for prospect meetings, with a focus on community engagement and delivering tailored financial solutions.

Qualifications

• Public speaking skills to engage business clients effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication for proposals and relationship management.
• Knowledge of banking industry standards and best practices.
• Ability to analyze ROI and use data to drive decisions.
• Experience with financial software such as Jack Henry and ProfitStars.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify, acquire, and grow deposit relationships with business customers to meet growth goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation of deposit growth efforts and results.
• Manage all phases of the sales process, from prospecting to onboarding.
• Collaborate across departments to develop new growth strategies and marketing initiatives.
• Research market trends to keep offers competitive and relevant.
• Engage the community through volunteerism and networking.
• Support branch and Cash Management teams to ensure excellent service.
• Be proactive in seeking opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
• Travel locally up to 50% and work flexible hours for meetings and events.
• Provide branch coverage on weekends as needed.
