Job summary

First National Bank of Pennsylvania is seeking a Business Development Officer 2 in Bethesda, MD to grow small business loan and deposit relationships and expand community presence.

You will prospect, network, cold call, and partner with specialists to cross-sell products while maintaining compliant risk management and delivering exceptional client service. BA/BS and 7+ years in banking or business development are required.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• At least 7 years of experience in business development or banking.
• Experience in small business banking and deposits a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops new small business relationships and services current small business loan and deposit relationships by prospecting new customers, profiling to identify current and future needs and maintaining a professional and attentive relationship.
• Contacts customers to determine loan, deposit, insurance and investment needs; cross-sell products and refer to specialists as needed.
• Maintains a prospective calling program and makes cold calls to promote the Bank's products and services.
• Resolves problems to enhance existing business relationships and supports risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Promotes the Bank's image in the community and develops networking sources for referrals.
• Leads and coaches peers; collaborates with Branch Managers and partners across lines of business.
