Job summary

Floor & Decor in Hendersonville, TN is seeking a store team member to train Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service and product information. You will help maintain merchandising, pricing, and department organization while guiding associates in SOP adherence and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include completing certification courses, handling checkout and refunds, and presenting how-to classes to customers, with emphasis on safety and the company philosophy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Maintain overall merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Process customers at check-out using the POS system and handle refunds/exchanges.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
