Job summary

Floor & Decor in Knoxville is seeking a Training Specialist to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience through exceptional service and product knowledge.

The role involves leading certification courses, maintaining merchandise presentation, and guiding staff on the basic P’s of retail. Requires a high school diploma and 1 year of customer service/sales experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Product Sales Specialists to deliver exceptional customer service and product information.
• Ensure consistent adherence to store policies and safety procedures.
• Drive the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Coordinate certification courses and maintain product knowledge in the showroom.
• Assist customers with product questions, selections and checkout processes.
• Stock, price, and merchandise displays; create price tags and signs.
