Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Customer Service oriented team member to train product sales specialists and deliver exceptional customer service and product information in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes understanding the basic P’s of retail, supervising merchandising, pricing and showroom presentation, completing specialist certifications, and assisting customers with questions and selections at checkout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in line with the company’s core values.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Greet customers, answer product questions and assist selections.
• Process checkout transactions and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers and communicate SOP changes promptly.
