Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Relief Account Manager trainee in the Denver, CO area. The role supports Account Managers on back-up sales, merchandising and service duties when they are away from their routes.

You will learn through a sales-trainee program while fielding responsibilities that include soliciting products, maintaining inventory, promoting promotions, and building relationships with retail partners. This opportunity offers growth within a leading beverage distributor.

Responsibilities

• Solicit products in a defined route area while operating a company vehicle.
• Manage, rotate and maintain a neat inventory in each account.
• Sell sufficient product inventory to eliminate out-of-stock situations.
• Seek and develop positive working relationships with our retail partners.
• Identify new opportunities to grow our existing portfolio.
• Develop and implement sales promotions to encourage distribution and product growth.
• Responsible for ensuring marketing and sales support materials are displayed in each retail outlet.
• Secure the best possible selling position for our products (including primary displays, coolers, etc.).
• Place all brand POS materials including neons, glassware, paper goods, and display enhancers in order to establish a
• Conduct special promotions within accounts to increase brands sales.
• Call on account to establish sales promotions thru displays and samplings.
• Maintain strong lines of communication with Driver to execute daily duties and merchandising expectations.
• Operate company vehicle safely and according to policy.
• Actively supports the Company's mission and vision philosophy.
• Attends all required Company meetings.
• Employee initiates and actively participates in personal growth and development plans.
• Works with all co-workers to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintains security and confidentiality of all Company information.
