Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver in Denver, CO is seeking a Restaurant Server to provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests. The role includes taking orders, delivering meals, processing payments, and upselling items.

The position is Full Time and hourly, with duties spanning POS operation, opening/closing procedures, and maintaining clean, stocked dining areas while upholding Highgate Hotel standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to maneuver through dining area carrying full trays.
• Effective communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests in a courteous, attentive, and efficient manner.
• Be familiar with hotel organization, outlets, and room service functions.
• Know menus and current specials in applicable outlets.
• Service guests with all food and beverage requirements.
• Pre-bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
• Operate the POS system and perform cashiering duties.
• Open and close procedures and side-work per station rotation.
• Keep beverages topped up and service stations stocked.
