Job summary

MG2 Design in Denver, CO is seeking an Architectural Project Manager for Manufacturing/Industrial to lead client programs from design through construction. You will manage schedules, budgets, contracts, and team performance while maintaining MG2’s standard of design excellence.

The role emphasizes strong client relationships, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication across all project phases, including contract management, permitting, and construction administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
• Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through all project phases with contract, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Ensure contracts are in place before starting execution of deliverables.
• Create milestone-based schedules and staffing workplans.
• Develop project charters and QA/QC plans for all work.
• Assist with proposals and RFP responses.
• Monitor financial status and conduct reviews with leaders.
• Review monthly invoicing and consultant billing.
• Produce weekly project updates for stakeholders.
• Lead internal and external project meetings.
• Oversee construction administration activities and site-related reviews.
• Host debriefs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage close-out procedures and contractual alignment.
• Manage internal/external resources for quality and profitability.
• Provide feedback and conduct 1:1s and year-end reviews.
