Job summary

MG2 Design in Minneapolis is seeking an Architectural Project Manager for Manufacturing/Industrial projects. You will lead design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration across all project phases, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include contract management, client relationship building, and proactive project communication. The role emphasizes team leadership, schedule control, and financial performance of the work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Manufacturing/Industrial project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through all project phases; ensure deliverables meet contract, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure required contracts are in place prior to execution of contract deliverables.
• Create and maintain milestone-based project schedules and staffing plans.
• Develop detailed Project Charters and QA/QC plans for all project work.
• Assist with development of proposals and RFP responses as requested.
• Monitor financial status and conduct monthly reviews with Team Leads or PIC.
• Review monthly invoicing and consultant billing; provide weekly updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee construction administration, RFI/Submittal logs, and OAC meetings; manage site visits and punch lists.
