Job summary

Patterson Dental is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow profitable sales by managing dental office accounts across defined California territories. You will analyze business needs, present equipment solutions, and drive ROI discussions with practice partners.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience, plus strong communication and negotiation skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field and 3 to 5 years of business to business outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are required.
• Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
• General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office is required.
• You must also possess a valid driver's license.
• 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance accounts by regularly contacting dental offices within a defined territory.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, orders, sales and financial activity.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, explain ROI and tax advantages, and discuss dental industry trends.
• Build a practice-partner mindset with doctors and staff to drive profitable sales growth.
• Perform related duties to support Territory Sales responsibilities.
