Job summary

The Practice Manager at Community Health Centers of the Rutland Region will oversee daily operations of the main practice, manage staff, schedules, and enforce policies to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care across sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), five years of operational management experience, and knowledge of fiscal and HR practices, with familiarity with regulations and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Five years of operational management experience.
• Knowledge of fiscal management practices and human resource management techniques; governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Selects, hires, trains, coach, and counsel personnel as required to ensure efficient and effective office work.
• Manages and coordinates all staff/provider schedules.
• Supports and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
• Ensures that office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.
• Coordinates day to day operations at the sites.
• Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness and modifying activities, as necessary. Ensures that the office is staffed appropriately.
