Job summary

Community Health Rutland is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the main practice operations in Rutland, VT. The role ensures policy adherence, directs staff activities, and coordinates daily functions across sites to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.

The successful candidate will manage personnel, schedules, and resources while supporting accreditation and regulatory requirements within a multi-site community health setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Five years of operational management experience.
• Knowledge of fiscal management practices.
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Selects, hires, trains, coach, and counsel personnel as required to ensure efficient and effective office work.
• Manages and coordinates all staff/provider schedules.
• Supports and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
• Ensures that office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.
• Coordinates day to day operations at the sites.
• Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness and modifying activities, as necessary. Ensures that the office is staffed appropriately.
