Job summary

Community Health Center in Rutland, VT is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee daily operations of the main practice and enforce organizational policies. You will supervise all staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective care across sites.

The role requires leadership in staff development, regulatory compliance, and resource management to support clinicians and patients in a multi-site FQHC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Five years of operational management experience.
• Knowledge of fiscal management practices and human resource management techniques.
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Selects, hires, trains, coach, and counsel personnel to ensure efficient office work.
• Manages and coordinates all staff/provider schedules.
• Supports and upholds policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety and accreditation requirements.
• Ensures office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided for patient care.
• Coordinates day-to-day operations at the sites.
• Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities and staffing appropriately.
