Job summary

Dental Care of Carrollton, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Practice Manager of Operations. You will partner with the Doctor to drive operational excellence, service quality, and financial performance in a patient‑focused environment.

You will lead a team, optimize processes, and use data to improve office efficiency, scheduling, claims, and patient experience. Heartland Dental emphasizes learning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Ability to analyze processes and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• HIPAA training and protection of PHI/data safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner to the Doctor, ensuring office delivers support and service to both Doctor and patients.
• Guide your team by focusing on continuous improvement and mastery of roles.
• Set the standard for exceptional customer service and team collaboration as a relationship builder.
• Oversee daily operations: filing patient claims, managing payments, resolving issues, scheduling, and inventory.
• Select, onboard, train, coach, and retain world-class team members.
• Review, analyze and use business reports to identify opportunities and implement best practices.
