Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be one of the first people patients meet, guiding them through scheduling, treatment explanations, and payment options. You will help create a welcoming, informative, and supportive experience throughout their dental journey.

In this front-office role, you’ll anchor the patient experience, verify insurance, assist with scheduling, and collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure smooth, positive visits for all patients.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dental/healthcare or customer-service environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and create positive patient relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and create a warm, welcoming environment.
• Support check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification and patient questions.
• Explain treatment recommendations and payment options.
• Maintain scheduling efficiency and maximize patient care opportunities.
• Communicate clearly with patients, doctors and the dental team.
• Show appreciation to patients and ensure a positive experience.
