Job summary

Great-Smiles is seeking a Treatment Care Coordinator to guide patients through dental care journeys, from first contact to follow-up. You will welcome new patients, explain treatment plans, and coordinate scheduling with the clinical team to ensure a positive experience.

You will also educate patients on financial policies, discuss payment options, and assist with pre-estimates and insurance communication, while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in dental/healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with dental and insurance billing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and manage patient relations.
• Explain treatment plans, procedures, and available services; address questions.
• Assist patients with prioritizing treatments and scheduling/payment plans.
• Educate patients on financial policies and payment options.
• Follow up on consultations, documents, and appointments.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely service.
• Process patient payments and insurance payments; verify/submit claims.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect confidentiality.
• Support front desk, dental assistants, and doctors to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain full appointment schedule and communications via phone, email, or mail.
