Job summary

Western Dental Services, Inc. seeks a Patient Care Coordinator in California to act as the primary liaison for patients and ensure a welcoming, seamless experience. The PCC greets patients, introduces them to the office, coordinates treatment services and cultivates lasting relationships.

The role requires exceptional communication, a passion for service and a knack for sales. Travel may be required for training and to perform job functions, with a focus on accuracy and privacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years in a customer service role, preferably in healthcare or dental.
• Experience with dental practice software such as Denticon/Dentrix preferred.
• Excellent communication to interact with patients, staff and third parties.
• Attention to detail in maintaining patient records and financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a timely, professional and engaging manner.
• Maintain a productive daily schedule and coordinate future appointments with patients and staff.
• Explain treatments, costs, insurance coverage and payment options to patients.
• Follow up with patients after visits to build lasting relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health, privacy and safety regulations.
• Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions.
