Job summary

Western Dental Services, Inc. is seeking a diligent Patient Care Coordinator to join our California offices. The PCC will greet patients, coordinate treatment services, and cultivate lasting relationships while promoting a welcoming, patient-centric experience.

The role requires excellent communication, a genuine passion for customer service, and comfort with explaining treatment options, costs, insurance, and payment plans. Travel for training may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in customer service, sales, or receptionist role, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Denticon or Dentrix.
• Excellent communication with patients and staff.
• Attention to detail in maintaining patient records and financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a timely, professional and engaging manner
• Maintain a productive daily schedule and schedule future appointments in coordination with patients and dental staff
• Provide patient consultations and communicate information about recommended treatments, cost of service, insurance coverage and payment options
• Contact patients to follow up on visits and to build lasting patient relationsships
• Ensure compliance with health, privacy, and safety regulations
• Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions
