Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley seeks a Dental Supervisor to oversee all dental support staff across sites and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient delivery of services and patient satisfaction.

The role requires leadership in scheduling, staff development, and coordination with dentists, with a focus on HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct. Exempt position reporting to Health Center Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid RDA California License or DA Certificate required.
• Lifesaving Certification required.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Dental Assistants and Dental Receptionists.
• Manage provider schedules and templates to ensure proper appointment allocation.
• Provide coaching, training, and staff development.
• Assist with recruitment and hiring for dental staff.
• Ensure DA/RDA coverage and perform related functions.
• Coordinate dental staffing to ensure adequate coverage for quality care.
• Perform site audits/visits and ensure data entry accuracy.
