Job summary

United Health Centers seeks a Dental Supervisor to oversee all UHC dental support staff across sites and direct day-to-day operations while upholding UHC policies. You will ensure efficient delivery of services, patient satisfaction, and staff development under the Health Center Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating provider schedules, coaching staff, assisting with recruitment, ensuring DA/RDA coverage, and maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid RDA California License or DA Certificate.
• Completed training program in Dental Assisting from Accredited College.
• Possess a Lifesaving Certification.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a dental setting preferred.
• Knowledge of dental insurances and billing preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Knowledge and understanding of community health centers mission and role.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for the UHC dental operations at assigned health centers.
• Proactively manage provider appointment schedules to ensure correct templates and appropriate scheduling.
• Provide coaching, training, counseling and staff development.
• Assist with recruitment and hiring for dental staff.
• Ensure DA/RDA functions are performed and provide coverage as necessary.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure quality care and patient flow.
• Perform site audits/visits between front and back office.
• Ensure timely data entry corrections/completion.
