Job summary

PDS Health is offering an Operations Manager Trainee position to develop the skills needed to independently run a dental office. The program blends structured curriculum, on-the-job practice, and development meetings, with the goal of independent management within 4–6 months.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and driving revenue while controlling costs, under supervision of the Owner Dentist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
• Operations Manager Trainee must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Travel to multiple offices per day with reliable transportation.
• In lieu of a license, alternate transportation acceptable for travel.

Responsibilities

• Modeling company culture and values; promoting PDS culture daily.
• Assessment, hiring and retention of right-fit team through training and coaching.
• Investigate and resolve staff and patient issues with timely, effective solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with consistency with Owner Dentist.
• Drive year over year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to achieve monthly goals and budget.
• Show proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols.
• Develop leadership and team development through mentoring.
• Maintain open communications with direct supervisors to build trust.
