Job summary

PDS Health is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee to learn the skills and company knowledge required to independently run a dental office within the PDS network. The role emphasizes development through structured curriculum, on-the-job practice, and coaching, with the goal of independently managing a office in 4–6 months.

Responsibilities include hiring and coaching, resolving issues, executing the operational model, driving revenue and controlling costs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; travel to multiple offices.
• Willingness to travel; reliable transportation.
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model and promote company culture and standards in daily operations.
• Hire, train, coach and retain team members for right-fit operations.
• Resolve staff and patient issues with timely, logical solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with Owner Dentist.
• Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to meet monthly budgets.
• Ensure cash handling and accounting protocol compliance.
• Develop and implement office success plans and protocols.
• Report weekly to Regional Manager on progress.
