Job summary

PDS Health is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee in Los Angeles to begin an intensive development program. The role aims to train individuals to independently run a financially viable dental office within 4–6 months, under supervision, through structured curriculum and hands-on practice.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, resolving issues, driving revenue, managing expenses, and ensuring regulatory compliance while developing leadership and patient experience excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related work experience in operational management.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; license verified by motor vehicle record check.
• Must travel to multiple offices per day with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture and values; learn to promote PDS culture daily.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and coach staff to ensure fit and retention.
• Resolve staff and patient issues with timely, effective solutions.
• Execute the PDS Operational Model with Owner Dentist partnership.
• Drive year over year revenue and profit growth.
• Manage expenses to meet monthly goals and budget.
• Show proficiency in cash management and accounting protocols.
• Lead development of the Perfect Patient Experience.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to improve team performance.
• Maintain professional appearance and communication with supervisors.
• Understand People-related tools and resources for HR functions.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory bodies.
• Report weekly to Regional Manager on progress and goals.
• Develop staff and office protocols for efficient operations during absences.
• Handle other duties to improve team development outcomes.
