Job summary

Coast Dental is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead and coordinate multiple dental offices. You will hire, train and manage office staff, oversee insurance claims, payroll, and patient financing, and ensure high-quality patient service.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and leadership to meet monthly performance goals and maintain smooth front/back-office operations. Travel between offices is required to provide coverage when others are unavailable, and you will

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in business, or equivalent, and three years working experience.
  • Working knowledge of front and back-office healthcare operation.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Prior management experience strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of general dental terminology.
  • Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and dental office software.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and manage performance of office team members.
  • Explain treatment plans and payment options to patients.
  • Review payroll accuracy and overtime; approve payroll.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and daily deposits.
  • Coordinate coverage between offices and travel as needed.
  • Ensure office security and OSHA training compliance.
