Job summary

Rush Creek Dental Care in Maple Grove, MN, part of Heartland Dental, seeks a friendly Business Assistant to join our front office team.

You’ll greet patients, answer phones, manage mail and email, schedule with Dentrix, file insurance claims, post payments, and discuss treatment options with patients, supporting providers and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to PHI with HIPAA training; protect PHI and data safeguards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, and email.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems.
