Heartland Dental is seeking a Business Assistant at Metro Dentalcare in Eagan, MN. You’ll support front office operations, greet patients, and coordinate scheduling with Dentrix for multiple providers, while ensuring accurate insurance processing and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Front desk/front office duties experience preferred.
• Awareness of HIPAA and PHI protections required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office tasks: phones, mail, emails, and coordination with patients/insurers.
• Use Dentrix to schedule appointments and maintain records.
• Schedule and confirm multiple providers' appointments.
• Post insurance and patient payments; follow up on outstanding claims.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
