Job summary

Platt Springs Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Business Assistant to support front desk and office operations. You’ll greet patients, handle phones and emails, communicate with insurers, and help use Dentrix for scheduling and records.

You’ll work with providers and the team to optimize office potential, enjoy strong training, and access benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plans, six paid holidays and PTO, plus Daily Pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, communications with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Post payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
