West Highland Dental Care, part of the Heartland Dental family, is seeking a Dental Office Assistant to join our team. You will be the friendly first point of contact, greeting patients and supporting the front desk in a fast-paced dental office.

Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling with Dentrix, processing insurance, posting payments, and coordinating with providers to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient care.

Competenze

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI handling awareness.

Mansioni

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front desk duties: phones, mail, emails, and patient communications.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding items.
• Post insurance and patient payments; process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
