Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry is seeking an Admin Support Specialist - Journey to coordinate vendor-contracted dental laboratory services for student clinics. You will manage case intake, perform quality assurance inspections, and assign appropriate vendors in the case management system.

This full-time position supports Clinical Operations with procurement, cost tracking, and financial reporting, with occasional cross-coverage across related areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related office experience.
• Equivalents: training plus experience considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel preferred.
• Experience with Inventory Management preferred.
• Experience with lab tracking software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator for vendor-contracted dental laboratory services and related case management.
• Inspect lab cases for quality assurance and assign appropriate vendors.
• Document cases in the case management system and track costs.
• Process purchase requisitions and assist with financial transactions and reporting.
• Provide cross-coverage in other Clinical Operations areas when needed.
