Job summary

You will maintain records, coordinate orders with suppliers, store and organize items, perform audits, ensure quality and safety, document transactions, and collaborate with faculty and staff to meet teaching needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of dental supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock for teaching and clinical needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to order new supplies and equipment with timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Store and organize inventory items to optimize space and enable easy access for faculty, students and staff.
• Implement inventory control procedures including regular audits and stocktaking to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure that all supplies meet quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Document inventory transactions and generate reports on levels, usage, and expenditures.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to understand inventory needs for teaching and clinical activities.
• Address discrepancies and urgent supply needs promptly.
