Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist dental practices with IT hardware, software, and services. The role focuses on proactive issue identification, remote and on-site troubleshooting, and collaboration with the Senior Systems Engineer to reduce ticket volume.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year in IT support, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Windows, Office, and Active Directory. Local travel to our Georgia practices is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in an IT support organization; capable of root-cause analysis.
• Experience with dental practice software is a huge plus.
• Ability to translate technical solutions for non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Supports all SGA dental offices via remote support in an efficient and effective manner.
• Track all issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in real-time using the support ticketing system.
• Maintain inventory of technology assets including hardware, software, and licensing.
• Perform general preventative maintenance on the company's computing infrastructure and software.
• Review user manuals and resources to identify solutions to complex issues.
• Work in a team environment with IT professionals; prioritize and resolve issues.
• Support Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and other software.
• Support networked printers and faxing; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Remote troubleshooting and on-site support as required; local travel and occasional overnight stays.
• Escalate to senior IT personnel when needed; follow up on closed tickets.
