Smile Dental of Round Lake is seeking a dedicated Business Assistant to join our patient-focused team. You will welcome patients, manage front desk tasks, verify insurance, and present treatment estimates with clear financial explanations.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a dental office, knowledge of CDT codes, and strong communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time role with benefits and opportunities to grow within the Smile Dental network.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year dental office experience.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and treatment plan presentation.
• Experience explaining treatment and financial options to patients.
• Dental insurance knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with CDT codes preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Welcome patients and manage check-in and check-out.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments.
• Answer phones and respond to patient questions.
• Verify dental insurance benefits, including deductibles, annual maximums, copayments, and coverage limitations.
• Present treatment estimates and explain patient financial responsibilities.
• Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Collect payments, answer billing questions, and assist with financial arrangements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential information.
• Coordinate with clinical team members to support efficient daily operations.
• Assist with appointment reminders and general front office administration.
