Job summary

Community Dental Partners in Lockhart, TX, is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to work closely with the dentist and educate patients on needed care, including options not typically offered. You will play a key role in guiding patients through treatment planning in a fast-paced dental office.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, and salary is based on experience. You will coordinate front office duties, explain benefits, and assist with billing and scheduling while upholding patient service

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Team player with attention to detail.
• Able to explain insurance benefits and financing options.

Responsibilities

• Understand day-to-day duties of front office staff.
• Speak with patients about potential treatments and clinical options.
• Prepare consent forms and obtain parental approval before treatment.
• Explain insurance benefits, out-of-pocket costs, and financing after the exam.
• Collect fees per patient’s insurance or visit.
• Assist office manager with sending claims and codes.
• Understand pre-authorizations, narratives, and PA/intraoral pictures.
• Support the Greeter and Insurance Specialist.
• Clean/maintain front office area/lobby.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
