Discover Smiles Dental, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Front Office Assistant/Business Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, manage front desk duties, answer phones, and use Dentrix for scheduling and records.

This position runs Monday–Thursday 9am–6pm and Saturday 9am–3pm, with competitive benefits, daily pay options, and growth opportunities in a supportive environment that puts patients first.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a dental front desk role.
• Experience with insurance billing, claims resolution, and treatment plan presentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Answer phones, manage mail and emails, and liaise with patients and insurers.
• Schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix.
• Process insurance claims and follow up on benefits and coverage.
