Job summary

Heartland Dental’s Dental Care at Alamance Crossing is seeking a Business Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients, handle front office duties, and coordinate with insurance companies while using Dentrix for scheduling and records.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and protecting PHI as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and communications with patients/insurance.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule/confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Post insurance and patient payments; process AR.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
