Job summary

Heartland Dental supports Implant & General Dentistry of Northern Colorado with a Front Office Business Assistant role. You’ll greet patients, manage front desk duties, answer phones, and coordinate appointments using Dentrix to keep patient flow smooth.

In a team-driven environment you’ll collaborate with providers to optimize office potential, review insurance benefits, process claims, and post payments, while safeguarding PHI and maintaining excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must have HIPAA training and protect PHI.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails; communicate with patients and insurers.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
