Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
• 1-5 years of customer service, insurance, or dental experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental software and Microsoft Office programs; ability to learn new systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Must be dependable and skilled in handling financial information, insurance verification, and end-of-day reporting.
• Clerical tasks: sorting, opening and distributing mail, scanning, photocopying; answer phone calls; greet visitors; schedule, verify, and confirm appointments.
• Explain procedures and/or services to patients using dental knowledge.
• Present financial policies and arrangements; collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage as appropriate.
• Track appointments and manage no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals.
