Mirasol Walk Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Florida. The role supports dentists with chairside assistance and patient education, using Dentrix for scheduling and records.

Regular hours include Monday through Friday with specific start times. The position emphasizes patient care, safety, and adherence to HIPAA standards, with opportunities for training and growth within Heartland Dental's network.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced patient-centric environment.
• If required by state practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve office workflow.
