Florida OMFS is seeking a friendly, team-oriented dental assistant to provide chair-side clinical support. You will assist doctors, manage patient flow, and greet patients with a warm introduction. The role includes taking X-rays, updating treatment plans, and maintaining sterilization and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; dental assisting certificate and radiology license preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of job experience; oral surgery experience is a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support and assist doctors with procedures.
• Manage patient flow and update doctors on patient status.
• Greet patients at reception and introduce staff.
• Take and process X-rays.
• Perform patient hand-offs and update treatment plans.
• Ensure sterilization of equipment and operatory.
• Monitor lab cases and prepare for next day.
• Maintain emergency kits and safety supplies.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines; CPR and required certifications.
• Assist with other duties as directed.
